On the third day, the Qinghai Tibet Railway Landscape Belt – Lhasa
Today, while on the train, enjoy the scenery of the train passing along the way (specific viewing views vary depending on the train schedule). The famous landscapes of the Qinghai Tibet Railway include Qinghai Lake, Kunlun Mountains, the source of the Yangtze River, Kekexili, Cuona Lake, and the Qiangtang Grassland in northern Tibet. The Qinghai Tibet Railway embodies the hard work and glory of several generations of Chinese people, creating multiple world firsts, such as the first railway bridge at the source of the Yangtze River – the Yangtze River Source Extra Large Bridge, and so on. In the afternoon or evening, arrive at the Lhasa Railway Station with a rich Tibetan style, enter the holy city of Lhasa (at an altitude of 3658 meters), and check into a hotel.

The fourth day Lhasa – Bakuo Street – Yaowang Mountain Viewing Platform – Potala Palace – Bugong Night View – Lhasa

Going to [Potala Palace] is the largest and most complete palace style building complex in Xizang, known as “Snow Pearl”, and selected as a world cultural heritage. Visit the Tibetan art treasures and the temple that has been passed down for thousands of years during pilgrimage, and experience the baptism of the soul (5A level scenic area, with a tour time of about 60 minutes inside the palace).
Go and enjoy the night view of Bugong (approximately 20 minutes of tour time), and freely enjoy the brightly lit exterior of Bugong Square. If you want to continue your free activities at Bugong Square, you need to return to the hotel by yourself.

Day 5 Lhasa Namco Lhasa
After breakfast, take a bus to [Namtso], which means “Heavenly Lake” in Tibetan, and is one of the three sacred lakes in Xizang, known as the “Pearl of Northern Tibet”. Strolling by the lake, you can enjoy a clear and picturesque sky, resembling the sky and sea. In the distance, you can see the magnificent Nianqing Tanggula Mountains and the northern Tibetan grasslands (with a tour time of about 50 minutes). Take a car and admire the snow capped mountains on the grasslands of northern Tibet, then return to the city center of Lhasa. The one-way journey from Lhasa to Namco is 250 kilometers, and there is a winding mountain road between Dangxiong and Namco, with limited speed along the way. The mountain pass has an altitude of 5180 meters, which is the highest point of this journey and takes about 8 hours to travel back and forth.

On the sixth day, Lhasa Yangzhuoyongcuo Karola Glacier Shigatse

It is the eastern source of the Nianchu River, the Red River Valley and other movie shooting sites. Overlooking the huge glacier extending downwards from the misty top of the mountain, it is crystal clear and blue, shining with sanctity (about 30 minutes of sightseeing time). Passing through Jiangzi, arrive at the central city of Shigatse in Tibet (the distance from Lhasa to Shigatse, including scenic spots, is about 380 kilometers, and the journey is about 6 hours).

Day 8 Lhasa Basongcuo Linzhi
After breakfast, we set out for Linzhi, and on the way to [Basongcuo] Tibetan Southeast God Lake, Xizang’s first 5A natural scenic spot. Strolling on the picturesque island in the center of the lake, enjoying the clear and gentle water, surrounded by snow capped peaks and mist; A 600 year old red religious ancient temple on Pilgrimage Island (60 minute tour time).
Afterwards, we went to “Dachela”, which means a small mountain pass for tigers to rest in Tibetan. According to legend, after the completion of the Cuozhong Gongba Temple on Huxin Island, Master Lianhuasheng sent a tiger to transport stone statues to the temple. This is the place where tigers rest, hence the name Dachela. It is an excellent location for taking panoramic photos of Basongcuo and overlooking Huxin Island. (The tour time is about 30 minutes).
